WE'RE HIRING

Pain care is evolving. Evolve with us.

We're seeking GPs, integrative doctors, psychologists and occupational therapists.

Are you a health professional looking for something different - something specialised, personalised and progressive? If so, you're in the right place.

Painless is Perth's leading integrative pain medicine practice. We deliver the complete package of integrative medicine, specialised therapies and "wellness care" to take patients on a journey – not just to overcome their pain, but to rebuild healthy, meaningful lives.

While persistent pain is the common thread, our patient base is very diverse. You'll be working with people living with virtually every form of persistent pain: from back pain, fibromyalgia and arthritis to multiple sclerosis, CRPS and phantom limb pain.

General Practitioners

We're looking for vibrant general practitioners with a curiosity about persistent pain and a passion for lifestyle or "wellness" care. With plenty of opportunities for professional development, this the perfect role for young doctors just starting out in their career.

At Painless, our GP's play a central role, serving as "care coordinators" for our patients. If you're seeking something different from the typical general practice model, we'd love to hear you.

Integrative Medicine Doctor

We're seeking an integrative or functional medicine doctor with experience supporting people with autoimmune, inflammatory or gastrointestinal conditions to solve the root causes of their pain.

If you're an IGP not currently seeking work, but interested in supporting a more holistic approach to chronic pain care by playing an advisory role, we'd also be very happy to hear from you.

Pain Psychologists

We're seeking a psychologist with a detailed understanding of pain science, a progressive approach and experience supporting people with persistent pain.

Occupational Therapists

We're seeking an occupational therapist with experience supporting people with persistent pain and a passion for active self-management strategies.

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT

Our approach to pain care.

We believe....

+

If a patient leaves our office with no more hope than when they entered, we have failed.

+

If a patient leaves our office with no clear plan to create positive change, we have failed.

+

If a patient, at any point, feels 'not believed', spoken down to or disempowered, we have failed.

+

If you disagree with those positions, we may not be the right fit for you.

We are not interested in....

+

Temporary band-aid fixes.

+

Invasive, risky surgeries.

+

Medication-only treatment plans.

+

A heavily biomechanical approach to treatment.

+

Provider-centric therapeutic relationships that disempower patients.

+

Ignoring the lifestyle, behavioural, psychological or socials factors that may be impacting an individuals experience of pain.

We are very interested in...

+

Functional, personalised pain medicine.

+

A biopsychosocial approach to pain care.

+

Progressive pain science.

+

Multidisciplinary care that addresses pain from multiple angles.

+

A strong focus on identifying and addressing the root causes of persistent pain.

+

Patient-centred care with the goal of empowering patients to become active participants in their pain care.
